Ken Keiser

Ken comes from a politically active family, including his father who served on the Upper Moreland School Board for 27 years, and as president of both the Pennsylvania School Boards Association and the Public School Employees' Retirement System. From him, Ken learned the importance of strong governance and how thoughtful leadership can strengthen a school district.
Ken has serve the community directly by being elected twice as Judge of Election for Upper Gwynedd 6 since 2018 and currently serving as president of his church's preschool board, further deepening his understanding of educational governance.

One of the biggest challenges facing the North Penn School Board is balancing the high school renovation project with concerns over the cost and its impact on taxpayers. Ken will work to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget while communicating its long-term value — better facilities for students, increased property values, and a stronger district reputation.

We also face pressure from some residents who oppose progressive policies like diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. This has created division in the community. Ken's goal is to focus on what’s best for all students:

-
Protecting policies that foster inclusivity and a safe learning environment
-
Framing these policies around practical benefits, such as stronger academic performance and better preparation for a global economy
-
Promoting respectful and productive board meetings focused on solutions rather than conflict
-
Building coalitions with parents, educators, and community leaders to strengthen support for initiatives that benefit students
